The Atlantic Turnout 50 has 50g insulation, a Ballistic Nylon outer and introduces our silky Dermo-care lining. The silky Dermo-care lining has wicking and Stay-dry properties that help to keep the horse dry and the coat smooth and soft. The Atlantic has a Click’n Go front closure with magnetic Snap-lock to help keep the rug securely fastened on your horse. Shoulder darts provide the perfect fit and freedom of movement. The Ballistic nylon shell is both waterproof and breathable, made with 1680 denier ballistic nylon. Denier is only one factor to consider when evaluating the strength and durability of a fabric. Also to be considered are; the type of thread used, the construction of the fabric, and the type of finish applied. These all have a significant impact on the overall strength and durability of the fabric. Resistant to tearing and abrasion the ballistic nylon is much stronger than regular nylon.
