Once we received it we found this product to be oddly positioned. It seems too low-topped to provide practical protection in all but the shallowest of water, which seems to eliminate much of its prospective utility. And fully waterproof quickly becomes a downside (especially when combined with socks) if any water does intrude since then it cannot drain back out and the interior cannot breathe to allow drying. It seems like a much more useful design would be a high-topped shoe, and/or anything that allows for not wearing socks with tight cinching around the ankle or integration with pants.
