2010-13 Kia Soul Sub Box Cargo Tray Sealed This is the 2010-13 Kia Soul sub box. I have two different versions of boxes for this car. I noticed that on the Souls, there was a large foam storage bin under the rear floor and over the spare tire. To me that is the absolute best place to drop a subwoofer box in. This design is a direct replacement for the factory storage bin and is a downfire box that fires the subs into the spare tire well. This will give you excellent output and no lack of cargo space in the hatch. The factory cargo floor will still go back into place and no one will know that there are subs back there until you turn it up. This box is 1.99cuft of airspace with a mounting depth of 5 5/8” which can be bumped up to 6 3/8″ with our steel bump plates for those who need something deeper. This box works great for up to four 8s or 10s even a couple of 12s will fit fine. This box uses a common airspace design instead of separated chambers just so they see a bit more airspace. So if there is anything special you would like feel free to let me know and I will make it for you. This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and truer to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs.
