2015-20 GMC Yukon Sub Box Downfire Cargo Bin Third Row Box Shallow 10s ­The 2015-20 GMC Yukon, with its third-row seat, and it’s new cargo bin in the back. This bin is removable, but if you’re just after a little bit of bass, then this box is a great fit, looks stealthy and keeps the cargo area flat when the back seats are folded flat. The space is small, with only 1.16cuft of airspace and 3 5/8″ of mounting depth, and that includes our 9″ metal back plates for the extra mounting depth. On this box, we put the plates under the carpet, so you won’t see it or know it’s there. Clean and simple. This is great for shallow subs with up to three 8s, two 10s. Downfiring and being at the back of the truck will give the subwoofer some good and deep output, while keeping your cargo area and the subwoofer protected. This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and truer to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced, a ported box is what you want. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want. This box is made of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickel-plated spring-loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
