2006-2007 Ford Super Duty Super Crew Sub Box Power Glass Ported This is a Ford Super Duty Super Crew Sub Box for the 2006-2007 F250 and F350 trucks. Ford Super Duty Super Crew F-250 and 350 trucks don’t have a lot of options. Behind the rear seat space is at a premium and under the seat is not an option. For 1999-2007, the boxes are 35x17x7 and the rear wall carpet must be cut to fit. This is to accommodate the rear power window motor from 06-07. It is 1.25cuft shared airspace and will work for some 8″ and 10” shallow subs. The carpet behind the drive side rear seat must be cut out for sub box to fit. It is a snug fit and may be easier to install with the rear seat unbolted. This box will not work for the 08-up Crew Cabs because of the shoulder belt. The shoulder belt can be easily cut out if that is what you want to do to get some subs behind that seat. This is a ported subwoofer enclosure. Ported subwoofer enclosures are for customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy as a sealed box, but there is typically double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs and power. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and truer to the music with a more natural sound. If tight, punchy bass is what you want then our sealed designs will be what you want. This design is for maximum airspace and the airspace of the box can be reduced if desired. Our ported boxes are designed according to your subwoofer’s specifications. No two boxes will really be alike. At checkout, there is a “Comment” box, please give us the model number of your subs and we will build the enclosure as needed. We tend to tune our boxes low, around 34-37hz. If you have any specific requests, please feel free to let us know. This box is made from 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickel-plated spring-loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
